11/2/2024 - This is a banquet menu at an elegant private room for lunch. Overall, each dish is delicious while the Pan-fried buns (生煎包) is average (2 or 3 stars) because the meats and taste is so so, although the appearance is very good. This is one of the top 2 or #1 Shanghai restaurants in the County of Los Angeles with authentic Chinese Cuisine. On the other hand, exchanging a plate only took place once in the 12-course banquet period, which is below the fine dining standard, especially considering a Sale Tax at 10.25% and the Tip at 22% on top of the entire bill after the 10.25% sale tax applied.

There was a lot of people in the restaurant around dinner time and I liked that were little appetizers to eat while waiting for the main entrees. The food was good but definitely a bit on the pricer side for the portion size. The soup had the largest portion but the beef entree we got was a lot smaller. This restaurant is more of a banquet/family dining to celebrate rather than a quick bite out. There's a parking lot in the back as well as street parking.

I will be back. Service is good. And food is yummy. They will pack your food for you if you have leftovers. 2.50 for regular white rice. If you don't wanna order fried rice. Braised pork belly is super yummy. And the sour fish in soup is super yummy too! The environment inside is so clean and relaxing. It is fancy.

One of our favorite spots in the 626. - the Spicy Pepper Sichuan Fish dish has the best broth ever. So unique and flavorful and literally golden. Come here just for this! Don't miss out. - the staples are all delicious: the pan fried buns, the juicy pork dumplings, and the fatty pork belly. - the garlic pea shoots is probably one of our favorite veggie dishes.

It felt like something has changed with the menu. The quality of food is still delicious. We noticed that some of the portions were *ever so slightly* smaller than before; ie the ching chiang cured pork is always one that we get, but the cubes are sliced a bit smaller than before. Still delicious but made me a little sad to see! Service is as always quite minimal and you will have to flag someone down. It still remains to be great food in a quiet, clean setting, and easy parking!

This used to be Coco's and now it looks nothing like Coco's. Very nice decor, clean, and modern. Seating feels a bit crowded. They have private banquet rooms available for large parties. Highly recommend making reservations as this place was packed. Food has good presentation. They had many staff working but Randolph was the one who you see walking back and forth helping customers, with a big smile, and a calm voice. Food was very good. Large private parking lot and street parking available.
